Zirconia Ceramic Rings are much like tungsten rings. Ceramic rings
provide an even more scratch resistance surface then that of
tungsten rings do to their extreme hardness. Zirconia ceramic is so
hard that the ring could shatter under extreme pressure or if
dropped on a hard surface floor or a ceramic floor containing the
component silicon carbide. Ceramic is light weight like titanium and
is the same color throughout. Having the same color throughout is
important characteristic because if scratched, the scratch is less
visible as it camouflages itself to the surface. Ceramic makes an
ideal combo for tungsten rings. Inlay tungsten on ceramic or inlay
ceramic on tungsten. |
